Kat Jayne released her 1^st single “Caress My Heart”. Originally written in 2019 as the working title “Turquoise Beach” it was hard to find the write voice for the song. Alex Summer originally was to record and release on her next album, but this never was released. In 2021 Kat Jayne was signed to the label and immediately this one was for the her in the right key and arrangement. After the original guide and redone backing track was shelved for over 2 years, it was given a new lease of life. Caress My Heart has a flavour of Christine McVie from Fleetwood Mac writing. The melody was instantaneous from the genre of the way that Christine McVie writes. So I took 2 of her ideas. Everywhere was a great song she wrote in 1987 for the “Tango In The Night” album and “Say You Love Me” which were my 2 favourite songs. So taking ideas from the song writing of her styles , Caress My Heart has that touch of the 1977 Rumours feel. I wanted to have a damn good hit for Kat and this is no exception.
