TIMERIDERS PROJECT
It stared with one idea, to make a collaboration group of people who would become Timeriders. In 2018 the idea to create something unreal and something special. In the beginning it was a song which was just one idea. Walking down the road, the melody came right there and then. After Listening to loads of AOR music, the tune was based on seeing a poster For a film “Time-Rider”.
The Songs were written pretty quickly, and took over a month to finish the songs, Some were used on the last of the Yamaha PSR 275 which I ended up finishing to use on time-riders 1 & 2* (*More later). As the production started on the main track I was thinking what I wanted to use on the song.
I auditioned over 15 singers and some auditions were very well received by sending the original songs and some covers. The feedback was great and so I assembled the singers. They were: Darren Holmes, Jade-Anne, Rebecca “Bex” Appleby, Nathan Vose, Izzy-E, Lauren Short, Kat Campbell, Jen Gilroy, Charlotte Wilson, Edaisha and Nathan Walker.
When the initial songs were completed I then had a dilemma on my hands as I have left overs from the 1st project that as I was looking through the drive I didn’t realise how much material I had. Now this is where the 2nd one came into place. When the assembly came to place, there was no way I was able to make a 2hr cd (wow) so because I had some great songs. I wanted to continue the project. Time 2 Ride -Time-riders 2 was just a idea I had, a continuation from the main song , butt leftovers from the 1st album. Songs like New Stage, The Sphinx, End of the line, would have fitted the 1st album, but because I didn’t have time to finish some songs I had decided ahh what the heck I’ll finish the 2nd project. It took over another year to complete after asking the vocalists if they wouldn’t mind finishing the songs already started. Obviously they said YES. I would say that the project was amazing, This one is still to be released in thew next few months
